One of the themes in my new work, Shabbat, I cover issues dealing with aging, alzheimer's and the transparency between the personal and the political. My personal motto has always been to restructure our vision of equality but now I see it is to give birth to a new view of aging in American culture. As a Jew, I value the pause that Shabbat brings to our weekly routine and know we need to listen to the call to rest.
